We utilize state of the art Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CT Scan) technology that provides highly accurate 3-D radiographic images of the facial bones. These radiographic images can be used for diagnosing and treatment planning in orthodontics, temporomandiblar joint (TMJ) analysis, airway assessment, implant therapy, orthognatic surgical procedures, and other oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures. Undistorted*, anatomically correct views of the teeth, jaws and facial bones can be generated in cross-sectional(buccolingual ), axial, coronal, sagittal, cephalometric, and panoramic views. 3-D renderings can also be made. Three dimensional images enable a higher level of accuracy in treatment planning than current two dimensional radiographic techniques.
*Some distortion may appear when there are metallic restorations in the teeth.
